S. P Anand Sir established St. Xavier’s School in Balrampur in 2001 with a vision to provide quality education to students in the developing cities of India. Sir was a visionary and a veteran in the field of education and believed that all young minds must have a right to education. With decades of experience in the education sector, Sir had a deep understanding of how to nurture young minds and left no stone unturned to ensure that the school had top-class facilities of international standards.
Sir was ahead of his times in his ideology regarding the pedagogy to be followed in school. His ideas of extensive student mentoring, judicious use of technology, cultivation of independent thinking, acute focus on holistic education, and comprehensive teacher training programs are, perhaps, what have resulted in St. Xavier’s School, Balrampur producing consistent top rankers in the state.
Sir always had the students’ best interests in mind and all his decision were student-centric. No cost was too high for him when it came to his students. However, it was not just students that he focussed on – he was very employee-centric, ensuring that his employees and co-workers were seamlessly bound to his vision and principles.
It is purely Sir’s foundational ideas that have developed St. Xavier’s School, Balrampur into a leading institution that nurtures children by transforming them into responsible, empathetic, and perspicacious adults, who will contribute to the community and society in future.
Today, and always, we will stand by Sir’s mission of using education as a medium to make the world a better place.
