S. P Anand Sir established St. Xavier’s School in Balrampur in 2001 with a vision to provide quality education to students in the developing cities of India. Sir was a visionary and a veteran in the field of education and believed that all young minds must have a right to education. With decades of experience in the education sector, Sir had a deep understanding of how to nurture young minds and left no stone unturned to ensure that the school had top-class facilities of international standards.Sir was ahead of his times in his ideology regarding the pedagogy to be followed in school. His ideas of extensive student mentoring, judicious use of technology, cultivation of independent thinking, acute focus on holistic education, and comprehensive teacher training programs are, perhaps, what have resulted in St. Xavier’s School, Balrampur producing consistent top rankers in the state.
Sir always had the students’ best interests in mind and all his decision were student-centric. No cost was too high for him when it came to his students. However, it was not just students that he focussed on – he was very employee-centric, ensuring that his employees and co-workers were seamlessly bound to his vision and principles.
It is purely Sir’s foundational ideas that have developed St. Xavier’s School, Balrampur into a leading institution that nurtures children by transforming them into responsible, empathetic, and perspicacious adults, who will contribute to the community and society in future.
Today, and always, we will stand by Sir’s mission of using education as a medium to make the world a better place.

A MESSAGE TO PARENTS
In this ever-changing world, we seldom think rationally and the result is that we are always the last passenger to board the light! We speak of modernization and think proudly to be in the 21st century never giving a second thought whether we are in tune with the changes. In fact, we are too bold to accept the fact that there is still so much to learn. We have to make commitments to remove our mistakes and accept reality. It is only then our society and our country will be put into gear to surpass the present ups and downs.
Being Indians, it is our prime duty to help the ignorant ones and to realize problems like illiteracy and communalism. The young generation is easily shadowed by westernization and ends up forgetting the rich cultural heritage of our country We should not forget the fact that today’s children are tomorrow’s nation When a child fails to redeem his/her honour, he/she might turn aggressive or turn introvert and therefore proper psychiatric treatment and counselling is needed to be given by the teacher and the parents at home or at the school level.
The teachers should be confident about their subject teaching and they should take up teaching as a profession with full devotion and dedication in order to impart proper education in true sense of the term. I strongly support Mr. Shiva Khera’s slogan ‘Educating the MIND without MORALS creates a MANIAC in society. “Hence, a great effort is needed for the upliftment of the all-round development of a student.” Time and tide wait for none “keeping this in view, we should try to procure the best and forget the rest.
